Woodfiller issue

Postby jerry3571 » Sat Aug 27, 2011 10:24 pm

Hello,
I have used Woodcap Woodfill for a few years now and have thought it to be a lot better than the usual woodfiller. The Builders Merchants have had problems supplying this product so....
Does anyone know where to get this or is there anything which would be as good and not hugely expensive?
Any ideas on all this?? This stuff is Dutch I think so maybe tricky. :confused1:

Cheers Jerry

Is it like Repair Care that you buy from Dulux decorating centres? A two part filler in tubes with a double barrel gun, it used to be called Window Care. It's great stuff.

I think so. I have heard about Repaircare from Dulux who seem to endorse it. Pretty pricey stuff. The woodcap has it's own gun which doses the amount of hardener to the filler. It's about £20 for a refill which is not too disasterous. The woodcap webpage has gone too.

Not good.

dont panic Jerry theyve just been bought out, website prob being redone i'll call Marcel on Monday to confirm.

in the mean time, I have loads of oak & white in all 3 stores, - everyone that used to use carbody filler has switched over to it, its certainly my best seller - after the initial shock of the gun.

im going in to work in a bit to catch up on some paper work, so i'll PM you prices & delivery options
