Farmhouse

This place is peachy! I wanna live here.
It hasn't been lived in for years after the farmer passed away, almost derelict on the inside. They've put a new roof on and installed new windows which are my job - re-prime with onol express then two coats of Sikkens Rubbol XD.
There were two of the old windows which the owners didn't replace coz they thought they were ok. Of course, now I've had to replace sash-cord, panes of glass, and re-putty the lot I'm way behind on price and will have to motor-on to catch up :cursing: . They should've just replaced ALL the windows
Still, there should be tons of work inside if they've got deep pockets

Nice catch, Colin. That should last you a while on the windows. Have you got that rendered wall too?
I'm jealous

Hope you get the inside too. That could get quite involved.

Nice to see replacement wooden windows. Didn't fancy advising the window care System then Col?
Are the new windows fitted with spring balances or with the good old sash cords & weights, like the ones you have repaired?
Is this the same farmhouse building you were asking about colours for windows a little while back? they would look better in a much deeper colour.

You are gonna have fun with the m railings, don't forget to where your hat , stuck out in that heat!
Don't piss on my back & then tell me it's raining

Rendering is staying natural
I was going to go with a deeper colour on the windows, until they beat me down on price (farmers see :001_rolleyes: ) so now they're getting white. The railings are a goner, at least the finial part. The old windows were beyond rescue with a resin system, but they have got cords and weights in the new ones
